remote voter registration

We recently completed a voter registration experiment in partnership with Voter Participation Center to test novel mechanisms for remote voter registration. We found that individuals who received a hand-written postcard after receiving a voter registration form in the mail registered to vote by 20% more than those who did not receive a postcard. Read more about this experiment and our results here

Activist engagement experiments

In partnership with allied organizations, we are investigating novel mechanisms to boost and deepen commitment to civic engagement by new and longstanding activists.

Policy transfer

New legislators need guidance on the issues that are important to voters, and they need assistance getting those issues passed into law. We start by tracking the legislative accomplishments of newly elected legislators. Next, we are working on developing an exciting mechanism to make it easy for new legislators to get the information and support they need to turn policy proposals into law. Stay tuned!
